The vast majority of area offerings are homesites and single-family homes, most often set into hillside communities that promise upscale lifestyle amenities and breathtaking ocean vistas. There are several exclusive, upscale gated communities in the area, and they’re especially popular among families and retirees. They include Mar Vista, Flamingo Estates, and Altos de Flamingo.
