Nestled in a tropical paradise, this contemporary European designed home, completed in 2008 offers all the amenities you expect with the privacy, convenience and luxury you want. Just minutes from the town of Matapalo, you’ll find snorkeling, horseback riding, ATV rental, restaurants and diverse exquisite beaches, easily available. Nature lovers and outdoor types will LOVE this area. The property is only a two minute drive to Playa Conchal (a 10 minute walk to the beach, or 7/10 of a mile), three minutes to Playa Real (Pirate's Bay), 10 minutes to Brasilito Beach, 20 minutes from Playa Tamarindo, 12 minutes to Playa Grande and 15 minutes to Playa Flamingo.

This home features a total of 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, in two separate units. Two bedrooms, two baths, family room with TV, dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen are in the main home. The adjacent unit offers the privacy of a separate entrance, bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, den and bath. A laundry room with washer and dryer is accessible from both units. This is a great setup for families or couples traveling together. Kitchens feature all new appliances, wood cabinets and granite countertops. Step out of your bedroom onto the large patio that adjoins the private pool to the house. There is air conditioning throughout the house with linens provided. Two balconies overlook the Pacific Ocean (views of Playa Flamingo and Conchal). One car garage, security alarm and in room safe for your added security. The community flora abounds with ginger, banana trees, various palms, bamboo, and many other tropical varieties which attract the humming birds, butterflies, monkeys, and parrots.

The property is located in Montanas de Conchal secure community at the south end of Conchal Beach, which offers 24 hour caretaker and guard service. Daily maid service available for an additional fee. Free satellite TV and high speed WiFi (bring your own laptop).

We are happy to arrange for your personal, private pick up from the Liberia or San Jose International Airports. Please inquire for rates. We also can book all of your rental car and tour needs at discounted prices! A rental car or private transport is necessary for our area since public transportation is located 2 miles away in the neighboring town of Matapalo.

Great Home with a great view

My family and I had the most wonderful time at Casa Vistas. All three bedrooms were spacious and we used the office area as an extra sleeping area as well. Every morning we all woke up to the view of the pristine blue pacific ocean right before our eyes, just as beautiful as it was intended to be! We specially loved the fact that we are only a few minutes drive away from the uncrowded beaches in the area --- playa real, playa pirata, playa minas, playa conchal... everyone went out to the beaches on our first day and enjoyed the sun and the sand! in the succeeding days however, the older ones in the family opted to stay "home" in Casa Vistas, as they said, it was more "relaxing" to stay by the pool overlooking the panoramic ocean view. The younger ones, of course, preferred to do "beach hopping" before going back home and capping the day off with a dip in the pool... Our family had such a wonderful time! Casa Vistas was home for us for only a few days --- we cooked all our meals together, watched movies at nights, played games, etc. The home indeed made our family vacation truly memorable and extra special! We can only wish we could have stayed longer! ...but then again, we can always come back!

First, let us say that words can hardly describe our stay in Costa Rica. As soon as you step on the grounds of the house you're immediately floored by the view from the house. We made it our daily routine to brew some coffee and be blown away each morning by the beauty of it all. The house is immaculate inside and out and has everything you would possibly need. The pool makes for a perfect refuge after trekking around CR all day. I recommend renting a car and truly getting out and seeing as much of CR as you can. Last, all of this is made possible by the most gracious hosts and neighbors you could ask for. Keith & Becky provide you with all the care and know how without being intrusive in any way. It was amazing, and the whole crew thanks you! Till' next time, Pura Vida!

Four of us (two couples) just spent a week in this house. I would highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a large, newer, clean, comfortable house during their stay in CR. Had no problems, the house had all necessary amenities and everything worked just fine. The road to the property is pretty rough (not uncommon in CR) but shouldn't be a problem for most vehicles - just be aware of it.

We really enjoyed our week in Casas Vistas. The home was a great base for all of our activities, and we enjoyed spending time at the house as well. The house was clean, well maintained, and equipped with everything that we needed. The pool was not large, but was big enough for all four of us to swim at the same time and feel refreshed. The area felt very safe and at all times we felt comfortable, as did our children (ages 10 and 8). The house is a great base for activities in the area. We explored several beaches, towns, restaurants, and parks all within an hour drive. The beach closest to the house (1/2 mile or so) was very nice, and a bit farther (1 mile or so) is one of the nicest most remote beaches we have ever visited. Tamarindo is about 1/2 hour away and was a fun excursion for a "tourist" beach where we all took surfing lessons. Becky and Keith (the property manager) also happen to live next door to the house and were very friendly and helpful in providing a few "local" tips that made our trip very enjoyable. They also run a tour company and were able to facilitate a trip to Monteverde. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hope to return sometime soon.
